The person behind the commits.
I'm Jacinth Mahanta, a Full Stack Developer, UI/UX Designer, and AI Researcher from India, currently based in Lancaster, UK.
I'm pursuing an MSc in Artificial Intelligence at Lancaster University, after completing my B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NIT Silchar with a CGPA of 8.18/10.
I'm currently conducting my MSc dissertation with Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, researching Parameter-Efficient Fine-Tuning of Large Language Models for NHS Referral to Treatment pathway validation.
I previously worked as a Junior API Developer with Lancaster's ITPI team, where I developed backend services and system integrations. I also volunteer with the British Heart Foundation, supporting retail operations, fundraising, and community engagement.
At NIT Silchar, I served as Outreach Head of GDSC and Senior Associate at E-Cell, leading events, mentoring students in UI/UX design, and judging national-level hackathons.
